The Los Angeles Chargers are moving on from 38-year-old quarterback Philip Rivers.
This only confirms what has been known for quite some time in circles surrounding both the team and the quarterback. Rivers recently relocated his family to Florida and will look to catch on with another team if he chooses to continue his career.
The Chargers pick sixth in the 2020 NFL Draft, behind two teams that need quarterbacks in the Bengals and Dolphins. There were rumors earlier in the season that Rivers wanted to play for the Titans but they appear to be focused on retaining Ryan Tannehill.
Rivers struggled in 2019, throwing 23 touchdowns and 20 interceptions.
