49ers RB Jerick McKinnon Has Another Knee Surgery

49ers RB Jerick McKinnon underwent a second knee surgery this week on his right knee, according to NBC Sports Bay Area.

McKinnon’s ACL is in tact but the procedure was done to repair some lingering issues that put him back on injured reserve again this season. McKinnon will probably not be back in a 49ers uniform next season as his release carries $4 million in dead money. He could be a designated post-June cut this offseason.

McKinnon, 27, missed all over last season with a torn ACL and has experienced multiple setbacks.
