This week was supposed to be one of optimism for the Cincinnati Bengals. Rookie QB Ryan Finley will get his first start and superstar WR AJ Green is supposed to return from injury. Unfortunately Green is now out indefinitely and the Bengals hopes might as will be too.
Green tested his surgically repaired ankle and is experiencing swelling. Green said “Right now, my ankle is saying it’s too much.”
With his injury already acting up, the Bengals May opt to place Green on IR.
Finley will now be throwing the ball to Tyler Boyd, Alex Erickson, and Auden Tate. Good luck to the rookie and the rest of the Bengals. Maybe they can get the first pick in the draft now.
