Antonio Brown Sought Help From Social Media Consultants To Expedite Release

Antonio Brown may officially be a New England Patriot but the craziness isn’t over yet. Chris Mortensen reports AB sought out help from social media consultants to accelerate his release from the Oakland Raiders.

Posting the letter about his fine, the blowup with GM Mike Mayock, the video that includes the recorded private conversation with coach Jon Gruden, all of this was part of Brown’s plan to leave the Raiders.

AB never wanted to go to Oakland. All along he was looking to go to New England, Seattle, or Cleveland.

A player sabotaging his team like this to get out of a contract is unheard of. Brown can’t officially play for the Pats until week 2 but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the league step in here. The NFL can’t allow players to conduct themselves like this to abandon their team for a better one. If they don’t do anything it would set a dangerous new precedent where we could see other players emulate Brown’s antics.
