Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger tweeted out the following statement on Christmas day:
“P.S. Contrary to recent reports out there about my football future and my ‘uncertainty’ about playing again, I am working hard and am more determined than ever to come back stronger and better than ever next year!”

Roethlisberger, 37, only played in two games this season after suffering an elbow surgery that required surgery to repair. The procedure was to reattach three tendons. He has yet to be cleared to throw but the team is optimistic he will recover.
