Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes practiced in full on Wednesday and is expected to play this week at home against the Texans.
“I feel pretty good today,” Hamoes said h/t ArrowheadAddict. “It was sore after the game, but it’s feeling pretty good today, so I’m glad to be able to go out there and practice on it and get it moving around and stuff like that. I feel like I’ll be fine playing and moving and still doing what I need to do to win … It’s not perfect. I guess you could say that. But it’s good enough that I can still run, cut off of it and do all that kind of stuff.”
Mahomes tweaked his ankle in the Chiefs’ Week 5 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, an injury he’s battled all season. Last week, he absorbed a season-high four sacks and was noticeably limping to the line of scrimmage.
Through five games, Mahomes has thrown 11 touchdowns and 0 interceptions for 1831 yards, completing 65.6% of his passes.
