The Chicago Bears have hired former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Bill Lazor as their OC.
Lazor will replace Mark Helfrich, who was fired shortly after the Bears finished the 2019 season. In 2019, the Bears finished with a record of 8-8.
Lazor was out of the game this past season after he was fired by the Bengals after nearly two seasons. He worked as a volunteer consultant at Penn State. This is Lazor’s third offensive coordinator job as he was int he position for the Miami Dolphins in 2014 and 2015.
