Browns GM Comments On Odell Beckham Jr and Kareem Hunt Off-Field Antics

The newly appointed Cleveland Browns GM Andrew Berry has already talked to OBJ and Hunt about their off-field antics during this offseason, and their role within the franchise.

WR Odell Beckham Jr. caused quite some steering at the CFL championship game this year, where an arrest was warranted after he slapped a security guard inside the LSU locker-room. While RB Kareem Hunt, was stopped for speeding on Jan 21st and he was found with marijuana in his car.

During his introductory press conference, GM Berry said the following about Hunt: “Obviously with Kareem, we’ve communicated our expectations for him going forward, We want guys who are going to be tough, smart and accountable on and off the field. Kareem understands that. And we’re looking forward to him meshing with our culture going forward”.

Berry also addressed the Odell situation with the following: “We’ve had really great conversations, he’s one of the most talented receivers in the league. And we’re certainly happy to have him here. But again, everybody is going to have to fit into our culture in terms of being tough, smart and accountable. Both of those guys know that”.
