With injuries piling up, the Los Angeles Chargers have activated Melvin Gordon and promoted WR Andre Patton, per Ian Rapoport. Word is the returning Gordon will be used in a limited role.
Patton is a depth add with receivers Travis Benjamin and Mike Williams expected to be out. Dontrelle Inman will get the start along Keenan Allen.
LB Chris Peace was waived to free up a roster spot.
Even with the large amount of injuries, the Chargers offense shouldn’t have any trouble scoring against the hapless Miami Dolphins.
