The Cleveland Browns have a deal in place to bring in TE Austin Hooper. The exact terms are not yet known but are reported to make Hooper the highest paid tight end in the game.
Hooper has been a potent weapon for Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons and is getting paid big time for it.
Don’t expect to see David Njoku traded away with this signing. New Browns HC Kevin Stefanski ran more 2 TE sets last season than any other team in the league.
The Cleveland Browns are continuing their spending ways to lock up as many big names as possible. It did not go as planned last season but perhaps all they need is a little more time and a little more talent.
