Colts Sign QB Jacoby Brissett To Two-Year, $30 Million Contract

The Indianapolis Colts have agreed to terms with quarterback Jacoby Brissett on a new two-year, $30 million contract, per Ian Rapoport.

The contract includes a $20 million guarantee at signing and will replace the final year of his old contract. He was scheduled to make $890,114 this season and would have been a free agent next season.

Brissett was named the Colts’ starting quarterback immediately after Andrew Luck announced his retirement from the NFL last month.

In 2017, Brissett started all 16 games for the Colts and completed just 58.8% of his passes for 3098 yards with 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He added 260 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns.

Brissett is said to have improved as a player and he’ll be playing behind a much better offensive line in 2019.
