Confirmed: Seahawks Will Dissly Out For Rest Of Season With Torn Achilles

What was shaping up to be a major breakout year for second year TE Will Dissly is now lost. Ian Rapoport confirmed with the Seattle Seahawks that Dissly did in fact tear his achilles and will miss the rest of the season.

The budding star tight end has put up elite numbers, 31 catches for 418 yards and 6 scores. This is over only 10 games, 2 of which were cut short due to the horrible injuries.

Dissly’s left torn achilles is on the opposite leg of his previous torn patellar tendon, the injury that ended his rookie campaign.

Devastating injuries to both legs like this could possibly end Dissly’s career. With how well Dissly rebounded from last years injury I expect Dissly to do the same from this one.

Hopefully Dissly’s third season in the league will be a healthy one.
