Cowboys LT Tyron Smith has a high right ankle sprain, according to Todd Archer.
He suffered the injury in Sunday’s loss to the Saints and is now considered week-to-week, per head coach Jason Garrett.
“It’s hard to say anything definitively about him (Smith), but we did get some favorable results from the MRI,” Garrett told reporters, according to the team’s website. “So we’re going to list him as week to week and just see how he responds over the next few days. We’re still less than 24 hours out from the injury, so we’ll just see how he responds coming in. But the initial results have been favorable.”
If Smith is unable to play Sunday, Cameron Fleming would likely start at LT in his place. Smith has missed three games in each of the past three seasons due to injuries.
