The Cowboys released DE Taco Charlton to make room for DE Robert Quinn, reports Ian Rapoport.
Dallas attempted to trade Charlton but were unable to do so and needed the roster spot with Quinn back. Charlton wanted out and tweeted this:
Trust me the last thing I want to do is to have to go to social media to get what I want so I can play football again.

Charlton, 24, was selected by the Cowboys with the 28th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft but didn’t pan out. He was inactive for both of the Cowboys games so far this season.
