The Miami Dolphins have secured a core member of their offense for 4 more years. Wide receiver DeVante Parker is the recipient of the extension worth $40 million.
The next 2 years are fully guaranteed at $21.5M.
Parker’s play has been inconsistent through his first couple years but has taken a solid step forward this season as the Fin’s number 1 wideout since Preston Williams got hurt.
The deal seems like a hefty sum for Parker but with Miami tanking this year, they feel like they need to secure talent for the coming years.
