Eagles Cut Rookie QB Clayton Thorson

The Philadelphia Eagles have finalized their QB depth chart, and have decided to cut rookie QB Clayton Thorson following reports from PFT’s Mike Florio.

With Josh McCowan establishing himself as the back-up for Carson Wentz, the Eagles opted to keep vet QB Nate Sudfeld instead of the rookie. Thorson was drafted by the Eagles with the 197th pick (5th round) of the 2019 NFL draft.
