Daniel Jones and the Giants are close to getting both Evan Engram and Sterling Shepard back as both players have a chance to play this week.
Sterling Shepard was a full participant at today’s practice and looks on track to return. He hasn’t played since week 5 when he suffered another concussion.
Evan Engram did not return to practice but did lose his walking boot today. He was very optimistic and said it is “definitely possible” he could return this week. He is sitting at week 2 of his initial 2-4 week prognosis. Engram hopes to test his foot out with running and cutting later this week.
Though initial designations won’t be out until Wednesday, Shepard looks questionable while Engram leans toward doubtful. Either way it’s great to see that both players are trending in the right direction.
