James Conner Leaves Week 16 Against Jets With Thigh Injury

Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner left Sunday’s Week 16 game against the New York Jets with a thigh injury.

He’s struggled with injuries mightily this season and attempted to loosen up on the exercise bike before heading to the locker room in the second quarter. Prior to going down, he accumulated 32 yards on six carries.

One year after breaking out as the Steelers’ bell-cow running back, Conner has regressed in both performance and games played due to injuries. On Sunday, the Steelers lost to the Jets 10-16.
