Julio Jones Still Bothered By Shoulder Injury

by

Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones suffered a shoulder injury during the Falcons’ Week 12 game against the Buccaneers. He stayed in the locker room after halftime and missed a portion of the fourth quarter due to the injury. He ended up with five receptions for 68 yards in the loss.

Julio didn’t practice Monday or Tuesday but did participate in Wednesday’s walk-through.

Given the Falcons play the Saints tomorrow night, it looks like he’ll be a game-time call and his status will need to be monitored. If he doesn’t go, wide receivers Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage will split his targets.
