Packers WR Davante Adams has been ruled out by the team for their Week 6 matchup against the Lions on Monday Night Football.
Adams is dealing with a turf toe injury he suffered in Week 4’s loss to the Eagles. He hasn’t played since and has not practiced at all this week.
“I know it doesn’t feel how I want it to feel at the moment,” Adams told reporters after missing another practice Thursday h/t Packers.com. “I’m going to get back when it’s healed and when it’s ready to go. I’ll listen to my body and listen to our doctors.”
Adams will not require surgery for the injury but will need to rest it more before he will be able to return.
With Adams out, expect Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison to start with Jake Kumerow joining the fray in three-wide receiver sets.
