Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is in line for a “mammoth” contract extension this offseason.
While the team hasn’t really dug into contract talks with their quarterback outside of some early planning, a deal is expected to get done this offseason, likely after the new collective bargaining agreement is reached. Mahomes is expected to become the highest-paid player in league history.
