Mohamed Sanu is a Patriot. The long time Atlanta Falcon was acquired this morning by New England for a 2nd round pick.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Patriots attempted to trade for Sanu during the draft for the same price. With cap issues and starting the season at 1-6, Atlanta felt it was time to make the move.
The trade puts New England over the cap so watch for them to further adjust their roster.
Here is Sanu’s parting statement to Atlanta:
I appreciate everything the organization has done for my family & I. Mr. Blank, TD, Coach Q, & everyone through the organization, I am forever grateful for the opportunity. To my Teammates & fan y’all know how I feel about y’all love y’all to death. #ThankYou

Fantasy Outlook
Give Sanu until after the bye to get fully acclimated but he should take over as New England’s number 2 receiver behind Julian Edelman. Josh Gordon and Phillip Dorsett are both downgraded.
In Atlanta this means more targets for Julio Jones. Russell Gage will take over in the slot but likely won’t be fantasy relevant.
