Philip Rivers Interested In Joining Titans This Offseason?

Word going around the league is that longtime Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers may want to play for another franchise next season. Apparently one team he would love to play for is the Tennessee Titans.

Rivers, will turn 38 in December, is currently in his 16th season. He’s been with the Chargers since he was traded from the Giants for Eli Manning the day of the 2004 NFL Draft.

Rivers is set for free agency this offseason and Los Angeles may be looking to go in another direction. While it isn’t clear what it is about the Titans that makes Rivers want to play there, they are likely going to be in the market for a quarterback with the uncertain status of both Marcus Mariota and Ryan Tannehill.

However, there would be no guarantee Rivers would have a starting job. He’s struggled this season, throwing 15 touchdowns and 14 interceptions for 3169 yards on a 64.4 completion percentage.
