Seattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny sprained his ACL in his team’s 28-12 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll stated the team didn’t know how serious the injury is but that it is significant.
Penny was removed from the game following his team’s first drive of the game after he picked up a first down on a 16-yard reception. If he is due to miss time, which appears to be the most-likely scenario, we’re expecting Chris Carson to continue to be the lead back with C.J. Prosise and Travis Homer getting some work.
