The Redskins have cut RB Craig Reynolds in order to clear the way for RB Derrius Guice.
Guice missed all of his rookie season last year due to an ACL tear he suffered in the preseason. Complications from surgery prolonged his recovery and there was plenty of excitement surrounding him going into the 2019 season. However, Guice suffered a knee injury in Week 1 after rushing for 18 yards on 10 attempts. He was placed on injured reserved and missed the required eight games.
He recently returned to practice and appears ready to roll headed into Week 11. Veteran RB Adrian Peterson has started for the team in Guice’s absence.
