Redskins TE Jordan Reed hasn’t played in 2019 due to a concussion and his career is very much in jeopardy, reports Adam Schefter.
Reed has suffered several concussions through his career and his long-term health is at play when considering his future in the game of football. As Schefter points out, the more time that passes without Reed returning, the less likely it is he comes back.
Reed remains under contract with the Redskins through 2021 after signing a five-year $46.75 million extension in May 2016.
Reed’s latest concussion happened in the Redskins’ third preseason game in August.
