The Seattle Seahawks have made a clear decision regarding their back-up QB spot. Geno Smith has won the job to play behind Russel Wilson and as a consequence, the Seahawks waived QB Paxton Lynch as reported by Jeremy Bergman of the NFL Network.
Paxton Lynch was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft. However, Lynch never made the full transition from college to the pros and struggled in his tenure in Denver.
