Steelers RB James Conner said he’s good to go for Week 3 against the 49ers, according to Brooke Pryor.
Conner suffered a knee injury in Week 2 but remained on the sideline.
He was confident after suffering the injury that he would be able to play in Week 3 as he stated on his radio show that there was nothing significantly wrong with his knee, including no tears.
Conner, 24, is coming off a breakout season but has disappointed so far. In two games, he’s rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown. He’s caught seven passes for an additional 56 yards. He’s a bargain for the Steelers, as he’s making $645,000 this season and $735,000 next season.
