An MRI on the left knee of Colts QB Jacoby Brissett has revealed an MCL sprain.
Brissett was forced to leave the Colts’ game on Sunday against the Steelers in the first half due to the injury. Head coach Frank Reich confirmed the injury was to his MCL on Monday.
Reich believes that Brissett has a chance to play in Week 10 against the Dolphins. However, it would not be surprising if the team chose to sit him out of caution.
As was the case on Sunday, Brian Hoyer will serve as the Colts QB until Brissett is ready to go.
The Colts are already without T.Y. Hilton, who isn’t expected to play next week against the Dolphins or in Week 11 against the Jaguars.
