A.J. Green has yet to play in a single game this season for the Cincinnati Bengals due to a severe ankle injury he suffered during training camp. However, he’s looked good in practice and his 1-13 Bengals have not ruled him out for Week 16 or 17.
Green is set to become a free agent this offseason as he became the league’s highest-paid wide receiver when he signed a four-year, $60 million extension in 2015. His $15 million average annual value now ranks No. 11 at the position.
Green is on record as to saying he isn’t worried about contract negotiations and it’s believed he wants a chance to play this season.
