Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery will be shutdown for the rest of the season after suffering a foot injury in last night’s 23-17 overtime win against the New York Giants.
The team is still gathering opinions about what exactly is wrong with his foot. Dr. David J. Chao shed some light on the injury, which you can read below:
If not Achilles, still same result and not good news. Other option is posterior ankle joint capsule/ligament tear similar to Trevor Siemian @nyjets from this September.

Alshon finishes the year with 43 receptions on 73 targets for 490 yards and four touchdowns.
