The Bengals placed WR John Ross on injured reserve on Wednesday, according to Paul Dehner Jr..

Ross suffered a sternocavicular injury in Monday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was originally reported he was going to miss around a month. Now, he’ll miss at least the next eight weeks. He is expected back this season.

Ross had started to make some noise in the first time in his two-year career. With A.J. Green still sidelined, Auden Tate will play a bigger role in the offense moving forward.
