The Cleveland Browns have fired head coach Freddie Kitchens. The first-year head coach spoke with Ian Rapoport, here’s what he said:
Just got off the phone with an emotional Freddie Kitchens. He believed he had organizational support. He did not. https://t.co/6263Mmh7c0

As reported here on NFLNews.co, the Browns had begun doing due diligence on a replacement for Kitchens prior to Sunday’s ugly 23-33 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, a previous one-win team.
Kitchens and the Browns disappointed all year long to a 6-10 record, despite having a very talented team that some believed could be successful in the playoffs.
