Former Miami Dolphins QB Brock Osweiler visited the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday, as reported by Field Yates of ESPN.
The Colts currently have three QBs on their rosters: Jacoby Brissett (set to start), Chad Kelly and Phillip Walker. However, it would appear that the team wants to add more depth to the position, and Brock Osweiler appears to be at the top of their list.
Osweiler started seven regular season games for the 2015 Super-Bowl champions Denver Broncos, throwing for 1,967 yards along with 10 TDs and 6 INTs. Following the 2015 season, Osweiler signed a large contract with the Texans ($72 million). However, by failing to match expectations he was traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2017 where he was cut during pre-season.
Since then, Brock Osweiler has been a back-up QB for the Denver Broncos (2017) and the Miami Dolphins (2018).
