Yesterday we reported that Brock Osweiler visited the Colts on Tuesday to work out with the team for the back-up QB spot.
However, as confirmed by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Osweiler is not the only QB that the Colts are considering. According to the report the Colts have also worked out QBs: Matt Cassel and Brandon Weeden.
The Indianapolis Colts are now looking to add the QB depth after Andrew Luck surprisingly retired on August 24th.
Both Cassel and Weeden are established veteran journeyman QBs in the NFL. Cassel played last for the Detroit Lions in the 2018 season, where he played only 2 games with a QB rating of 26.3. Weeden played last for the Houston Texans in the 2018 season, where he only played a single snap all year long.
