Browns Have Strong Interest In Urban Meyer As Head Coach

The Cleveland Browns have strong interest in former Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer to fill their head-coaching vacancy.

Matt Rhule declined to interview with the Browns as he is the leading candidate for the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers head coaching jobs, per Adam Schefter.

In December 2018, Meyer retired from coaching due to health reasons. He is now employed by OSU as Assistant Athletics Director. Meyer also serves as an analyst for Fox Sports.
