Browns’ Myles Garrett Reinstated By The NFL

by

This morning the Cleveland Browns announced on Twitter that start DE Myles Garrett has been reinstated by the NFL.

The number 1 pick in the 2017 NFL draft, was suspended indefinitely by the NFL after he stripped Steelers QB Mason Rudolph of his helmet and used it to strike the QB in the head (as reported back in November).

Here the official statement from the Browns front office: “We welcome Myles back to our organization with open arms. We know he is grateful to be reinstated, eager to put the past behind him and continue to evolve and grow as a leader. We look forward to having his strong positive presence back as a teammate, player and person in our community“.

Up until the suspension, Garrett was a strong contender for DPOY with 10 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 29 tackles in just 9 games.
