Bucs Rookie MLB Devin White Leaves Thursday’s Game With Knee Injury

Sept. 13, 2019 11 AM ET Update: White is scheduled to have further testing on Friday, per Ian Rapoport. Bucs head coach Bruce Arians doesn’t believe the injury is serious and that it sounds like a sprain. Based on initial tests, if he misses games, it won’t be many.

Original story: Buccaneers middle linebacker Devin White left Thursday’s game against the Panthers with a left knee injury, per Jonathan Jones. He did not return.

White was selected fifth overall in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Bucs out of LSU. Should he be unable to go for Week 3, veteran Kevin Minter is the next man up.
