The Miami Dolphins have had a revolving door of running backs this season. Kenyan Drake was traded, Mark Walton released, now Kalen Ballage is on the IR.
Ballage injures his leg in Sunday’s win over Philadelphia. It is not known exactly what is wrong though.
His presence on the field won’t exactly be missed, averaging a meager 1.82 yards per carry.
After Ballage went down, Patrick Laird filled in. Laird didn’t fair any better running the ball but did make some catches out of the backfield.
Miami claimed Zach Zenner off of waivers from Arizona. Laird is the favorite to start but with how the position has been for Miami this year, nobody knows what exactly to expect.
