The best guard in the league just got paid. The Philadelphia Eagles have just signed Brandon Brooks to a 4 year $54.2M extension.

The new deal provides $30M guaranteed and makes Brooks the highest paid guard in the league.

Brooks tore his achilles in the Eagles playoff loss to New Orleans. He quickly returned from the injury to start the season and even improved his play this year. Eagles coaching staff have said Brooks is “having the best season of his life”.
