Ed Dickson Headed Back To Injured Reserve

The Seahawks are expected to place tight end Ed Dickson back on injured reserve. The team is concerned about his recovery from an ongoing knee issue.

Seattle just activated Dickson from injured reserve. He was originally scheduled to miss four-to-five weeks after having knee surgery in early August but he ended up being out much longer.

Last spring, the team signed him to a three-year, $10.7 million contract but his debut in 2018 was delayed by various injuries. He was activated last October and hauled in 12 receptions and three touchdowns in 10 games.

Seattle could cut him next spring and would save $3.4 million in cap space, only taking a hit of $866,000 in dead money.
