Fantasy Football – Waiver Wire Week 15 / It’s The Final Countdown Edition

It’s the final countdown!!!

Now that one of the catchiest songs of all time is stuck in your head, let’s talk some fantasy football.

It is the final countdown to the fantasy Super Bowl. There were some big names that went down this week, Mike Evans, Alshon Jeffrey, Marvin Jones, Rashaad Penny, and Derrius Guice are all out the rest of the way. Hopefully some of the names below will help you win this week and get to your leagues big game.

Quarterback

Baker Mayfield – The Browns have under achieved big time this year and Mayfield is a huge reason. He is the top streamer this week going up against Arizona. With all of the weapons around him and the best matchup possible he can’t miss right?

Running Back

Raheem Mostert – He was featured a couple weeks back and hasn’t disappointed. With only 50% ownership and what looks like the lead back job in San Francisco, he needs to be picked up and looks like a solid RB2.

DeAndre Washington – Rookie phenom Josh Jacobs is a big question mark this week. Washington was very solid in Jacobs absence last week and could put up RB1 numbers this week if Jacobs misses.

Adrian Peterson / Chris Thompson – AP has early down duties back again with Guice out and Thompson is solidified as the catching back. The Eagles D is strong against the run but both have opportunities.

Wide Receiver

Justin Watson – Watson filled in for Mike Evans and played like Mike Evans. He’s a 6’2” SPARQ superstar and should be the top wideout targeted.

Darius Slayton – Eli Manning is back and Slayton was his go to guy last week. He is a bit of a crap shoot but it’s hard to not target a guy with 154 yards and 2 TD’s.

Danny Amendola – Use caution with this one. Danny has a very favorable matchup and more opportunities with Jones out. PPR pick.

Tight End

Tyler Higbee – The Rams TE looks like the real deal. He should be their top TE, even with Gerald Everett coming back from injury.

Defense

Seattle Seahawks – Seattle’s Defense have been disappointing this year. They haven’t been too bad as a fantasy D. With Carolina on deck they could lead you to your Super Bowl.
