George Kittle Played Oct. 31 Game At Arizona With Broken Ankle

49ers tight end George Kittle played the team’s Oct. 31 game at Arizona with a broken bone in his left ankle.

Kittle suffered the injury in the first quarter but returned and played out the game. He hauled in six receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown. Kittle’s strong play helped San Francisco win 28-25 but he hasn’t played since.

The ankle isn’t 100% healed but Kittle is expected to play this week against the Packers. Kittle is “tired of missing time” and hasn’t tolerated his time out well.
