Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey will not play in Sunday’s game against the Panthers, the team has confirmed.
The team claims Ramsey is dealing with a back injury and will see a specialist sometime soon, per head coach Doug Marrone.
The word making rounds throughout the league is that Ramsey is staying away from the team to reinforce that he wants to be traded. He played in Week 3 but sat out last week against the Broncos. As reported earlier this week, Shad Khan wants to keep Ramsey on the Jags.
Ramsey’s next chance to play will be with the Jaguars against the Saints on Oct. 13.
