Free agent RB Alex Collins has entered a guilty plea to two misdemeanor charges, reports Ian Rapoport.
The charges are for possession of a handgun and marijuana and all felony charges were dropped. Collins received probation prior to conviction and the charges will be expunged after three years. He will also have to pay a fine of $200.
While Collins’ legal situation is resolved, he’s not out of the woods yet. A possible suspension from the NFL still looms and he’s not fully recovered from his broken leg.
