The Jacksonville Jaguars have engaged in trade discussions for running back Leonard Fournette, according to Adam Schefter.
The team has until May 4 to exercise their fifth-year option on Fournette. He is slated to make a $4.16 million base salary in 2020. Last season, Fournette only missed one game and ran for a career-high 1,152 yards. He added 76 receptions but only scored three touchdowns.
Last week, Fournette lobbied for the Jags to sign free-agent quarterback Cam Newton.
