Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster left Thursday night’s game against the Browns with a concussion in the second quarter and will not return.
Smith-Schuster suffered the injury after taking two helmet shots trying to haul in a reception and went down. A backboard was brought out onto the field but JuJu was able to get up and head to the locker room with assistance.
Smith-Schuster spent time in the league’s concussion protocol in 2017.
Prior to departing, Juju caught two passes on four targets for 21 yards.
