The Detroit Lions will retain both general manager Bob Quinn and head coach Matt Patricia for next season. There had been much speculation about the future of each with the Lions coming off their second straight 10-loss season.
Team owner Martha Ford confirmed the news while speaking with reporters on Tuesday. The Lions are 27-34-1 under Quinn and 9-20-1 under Patricia.
“We expect to be a playoff contender,” Mrs. Ford said h/t DetroitLions.com. “That means playing meaningful games in December.”
The 3-10-1 Lions will play the Denver Broncos on the road on Sunday.
