Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians did not offer optimism when asked about the hamstring injury suffered by wide receiver Mike Evans on Sunday.
“It’s not good,” Arians said h/t Tampa Bay Times. “… I’d be shocked if Mike made it back before the last week.”
Arians expects Evans to miss at least next week’s game against Detroit and their Week 16 game against Houston. The Bucs host the Falcons at home in Week 17.
As reported here at NFLNews.co, Evans scored on a 61-yard touchdown pass from Jameis Winston Sunday against the Colts but came up limping. It was his only catch of the game as he left and did not return. Evans didn’t meet with the media after the game.
The Bucs defeated the Colts 38-35.
