For the last 2 weeks, Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny has been on fire. With back to back games of over 100 yards he looked poised to end the season on a high note. Unfortunately after going down Sunday with a torn ACL, his season is over.
Coach Pete Carroll confirmed this morning that Penny will miss the remainder of the season. Carroll said he had not heard the results of Penny’s MRI but “could tell it’s a significant injury”.
Since Carroll’s interview, the MRI results have come back verifying Penny has torn his ACL. He should be back in time for training camp next year.
Chris Carson will finish the year as Seattle’s every down back and is set to explode this week against the Panthers horrible run defense.
